The Spanish Óscar Rodríguez, who on Saturday was proclaimed world champion of Downhill in the Skateboard Time Trial, has returned to the podium on Sunday. The Catalan rider took third place in the final of Skateboard Racing, in the third and last day of this discipline, which was held in the Parc de Montjuïc – Passeig del Migdia.
The competition in which Rodriguez has taken the bronze medal has been dominated by the Canadian Dana Hanna, who on Saturday was third in the race that won the Spanish. This time he did get the gold by qualifying ahead of the Australian Harry Clarke, second, and Rodriguez himself.
In the women’s category, the podium was repeated on Saturday, as the first three classified in the Skateboard Racing competition have been classified in the same positions that ended in Skateboard Time Trial. Thus, the American Emily Pross won the gold medal, the Brazilian Vitoria Mallmann Pacheco, the silver, and the French LydeBegue, the bronze.
